Luxara is built as an integrated pool, but its components have different functions, materials and service lives. Our warranty reflects those differences with specific coverage for the fiberglass vessel, structural support system, factory plumbing, automatic cover and other Luxara-manufactured components. Branded pool equipment carries the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, with Luxara helping coordinate warranty service.

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, improper water chemistry, improper installation or maintenance, and damage caused by conditions outside Luxara’s published requirements are not manufacturing defects.
This warranty coverage applies to a new Luxara Architectural Spa Pool purchased for residential use by the original retail purchaser (“Owner”).
Except where expressly stated otherwise in the final sales documentation, coverage applies only to the original Owner and while the Pool remains at its original installation property.
Commercial, rental, institutional, public or other non-residential applications require separate written warranty terms.
Warranty periods begin on the date the Pool is commissioned for use or ninety (90) days after delivery to the Owner, whichever occurs first.
The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship within the applicable coverage period. Damage caused or contributed to by improper installation, improper water chemistry, inadequate maintenance, normal wear, site conditions or operation outside Luxara’s published requirements is not a manufacturing defect.
Fiberglass Vessel — Limited Lifetime Structural Coverage
For as long as the original Owner owns the Pool at the original installation property, Luxara warrants the fiberglass vessel against water leakage caused by structural failure resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship in the manufacture of the fiberglass vessel.
For purposes of this coverage, “structural failure” means water loss through a fracture, void, crack, laminate separation or similar failure of the fiberglass vessel arising from a manufacturing defect.
The fiberglass structural warranty is a warranty that the vessel will hold water.
Leaks occurring through plumbing fittings, jets, lights, drains, skimmers, penetrations, seals or other installed components are not structural failures of the fiberglass vessel and are governed by the warranty applicable to the affected component or installation.
Surface appearance, cosmetic cracking, crazing, fading, staining, discoloration, texture variation and other conditions that do not cause the fiberglass vessel to lose water are not structural failures.
Structural Support System — 10 Years
Luxara warrants the factory-manufactured structural support system for ten (10) years against structural failure caused by a defect in Luxara materials or manufacturing workmanship.
Structural failure means fracture, separation, permanent deformation or deterioration of a Luxara-manufactured structural component that materially impairs the system’s ability to support the Pool and its intended water and occupancy loads when installed and operated in accordance with Luxara requirements.
Cosmetic corrosion, surface oxidation, coating discoloration or other appearance changes that do not materially impair structural function are not structural failures.
Damage caused or contributed to by inadequate supporting surfaces, movement or failure of foundations or structures, improper drainage, flooding, prolonged standing water, damaged protective coatings, corrosive exposure beyond normal residential conditions, loads beyond published design conditions, or unauthorized cutting, drilling, attachment or modification is excluded.
Above-grade installation, partial recessing, installation adjacent to retained earth and elevated installation are intended Luxara applications when designed and completed in accordance with Luxara requirements.
Luxara does not warrant the building, foundation, patio, deck, terrace, balcony, rooftop or other supporting structure on which the Pool is installed.
Fiberglass Surface Finish — 5 Years
Luxara warrants the factory-applied interior fiberglass surface finish for five (5) years against excessive blistering, delamination, material separation or pigmentation change caused by defects in manufacturing materials or workmanship.
Normal changes associated with use, age and exposure are not manufacturing defects. These may include minor fading, staining, discoloration, whitening, yellowing, mineral deposits, calcium scale, scratches, abrasions, hairline cracks, minor crazing, texture variation and ordinary changes in gloss.
Damage caused or contributed to by improper water chemistry, incompatible treatment products, improperly added chemicals, excessive sanitizer concentration, scale, physical abrasion or operation outside Luxara’s published limits is excluded.
Where a covered surface repair is performed, an exact match of colour, texture or gloss cannot be guaranteed. A commercially reasonable repair that restores the integrity and reasonable appearance of the surface satisfies this warranty.
Factory-Installed Plumbing — 3 Years
Luxara warrants its factory-installed piping and factory-made plumbing connections for three (3) years against leakage caused by defects in Luxara materials or factory assembly.
Coverage applies to factory piping, manifolds and permanent factory-made joints for which Luxara is responsible.
Replaceable seals, O-rings, gaskets and similar service items are not warranted against normal deterioration or wear.
Field-installed plumbing and connections are not warranted by Luxara unless expressly included in the applicable sales or installation agreement.
Damage caused or contributed to by freezing, improper winterization, obstruction, excessive pressure, improper field connections, incompatible chemicals, improper water chemistry, unauthorized modification or operation outside published limits is excluded.
Automatic-Cover Mechanism — 5 Years
Luxara warrants the factory-manufactured non-wear components of the integrated automatic-cover mechanism for five (5) years against defects in materials or workmanship.
This coverage applies to the principal structural and drive-support components of the mechanism. It is not a five-year guarantee against ordinary wear of components whose function inherently involves movement, friction, engagement or adjustment.
Cover Motor and Electrical Controls — 3 Years
Luxara warrants the automatic-cover drive motor and Luxara-supplied cover electrical controls for three (3) years against defects in materials or workmanship.
Damage caused or contributed to by flooding, improper electrical supply, electrical surge, lightning, unauthorized electrical work, obstruction, overloaded operation, improper adjustment or operation contrary to Luxara instructions is excluded.
Cover Fabric — 3 Years, Prorated
Luxara warrants the automatic-cover fabric against premature material failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship for three (3) years.
The warranty credit toward replacement fabric is:
Months 0–12: 100%
Months 13–24: 67%
Months 25–36: 33%
After month 36: No fabric coverage
The percentage applies to the then-current replacement cost of equivalent cover fabric. The prorated fabric warranty covers replacement fabric material only and does not include removal, installation, adjustment, travel or freight unless expressly authorized by Luxara or required by law.
Normal fading, staining, weathering, loss of gloss, minor shrinkage or stretching are not material failures.
Cuts, punctures, abrasion, animal damage, impact, storm damage, excessive loading, standing water, snow or ice accumulation, operation while obstructed or frozen, improper maintenance, improper water chemistry, excessive sanitizer exposure and operation outside Luxara’s published temperature or chemistry limits are excluded.
Operation of the Pool at hot-spa temperatures within Luxara’s published operating range is intended use and does not by itself invalidate cover-fabric coverage.
Automatic-Cover Wear and Service Components
Components whose normal operation involves friction, repeated engagement, adjustment or progressive wear are service items.
These include ropes, cables, gears, clutches, pulleys, bearings, bushings, guides, glides, sliders, wear strips and comparable moving or friction components.
These components are not warranted against normal wear, stretching, adjustment requirements, progressive deterioration or exhaustion of their useful service life.
The fact that a component is a wear item does not exclude a genuine defect in materials or workmanship. Where Luxara determines that a wear component failed because of such a defect rather than ordinary use or wear, Luxara may repair or replace that component under the applicable warranty.
Routine alignment, tensioning, lubrication where required, adjustment and servicing are maintenance rather than warranty repairs.
Exterior Materials and Architectural Finishes
ACM panels, factory-applied coatings and other externally manufactured architectural finish materials are subject to the applicable material warranty, if any, provided by their respective manufacturers.
Luxara warrants its own fabrication, attachment and factory-installation workmanship relating to those materials for one (1) year.
Normal weathering, fading, chalking, gloss change, minor colour variation and other ordinary appearance changes are excluded, as are scratches, dents, impact damage, environmental or chemical attack, deterioration of damaged or field-cut surfaces, improper cleaning and damage caused by landscaping, irrigation or site conditions.
An exact colour, finish or gloss match for repaired or replaced exterior materials cannot be guaranteed.
Third-Party Pool Equipment
Pumps, filters, heat pumps, gas heaters, lights, controllers, sensors, valves and other equipment or components manufactured by third parties are covered by the warranties, if any, provided by their respective manufacturers.
The applicable warranty period, coverage, exclusions and remedy are determined by the manufacturer of the particular component.
Luxara does not extend or enlarge a third-party manufacturer’s warranty unless additional coverage is expressly stated in the final sales specification.
Warranty questions may be initiated through Luxara. Luxara will reasonably assist the Owner in identifying the applicable equipment warranty and, where appropriate, coordinating the claim with the manufacturer or service provider.
Final warranty determinations concerning third-party equipment remain subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Luxara separately warrants its own factory workmanship in integrating and connecting third-party components for one (1) year from the Warranty Commencement Date.
Work performed by independent electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, landscapers, crane contractors, installers or other parties is not Luxara factory workmanship unless expressly identified otherwise in the applicable sales or installation agreement.
Proper water chemistry and maintenance are conditions of reliable Pool operation and warranty coverage.
The Owner is responsible for maintaining the Pool in accordance with the Luxara Owner’s Guide, including maintaining water chemistry and operating temperatures within Luxara’s published ranges.
Damage to any warranted component caused or contributed to by improper water chemistry is excluded from warranty coverage.
This requirement applies throughout the Pool, including the fiberglass vessel and finish, structural materials, plumbing, seals, fittings, jets, lights, heating and circulation components, automatic-cover mechanism and hardware, cover fabric and exterior materials.
Improper chemistry includes water maintained outside Luxara’s specified ranges for pH, sanitizer concentration, alkalinity, calcium hardness, salinity or other published parameters; incompatible treatment systems or chemicals; excessive sanitizer or chemical concentration; improper addition of chemicals; allowing concentrated chemicals to contact Pool components; and failure to correct materially improper water conditions within a reasonable period.
Higher water temperature can increase the effects of improper chemistry. Hot-spa-temperature use within Luxara’s published operating limits remains an intended use of the Pool, but does not eliminate the requirement to maintain proper chemistry at those temperatures.
The Owner should maintain reasonable evidence of regular water testing and maintenance. Records may include electronic logs, professional service records, pool-store test results, photographs, written records or other reasonably reliable documentation.
Luxara may request such records when the nature of a warranty claim makes water chemistry, temperature or maintenance reasonably relevant to determining the cause of the failure.
The absence of a particular record does not automatically void all warranty coverage. However, Luxara may deny a claim where available evidence reasonably establishes that improper maintenance, chemistry or operating conditions caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure.
The Owner is responsible for maintaining the required water level, circulation and water chemistry; maintaining appropriate drainage at and around the Pool; preserving suitable bearing and supporting conditions; protecting the Pool and equipment against freezing when operated in freezing conditions; properly winterizing systems that are taken out of service; maintaining reasonable service access; and following published inspection and maintenance requirements.
The Pool must not be drained except in accordance with Luxara procedures and appropriate precautions concerning groundwater, structural loading and site conditions.
Overflow must be avoided. Damage resulting from improper draining, prolonged overflow, hydrostatic conditions or other water-level conditions contrary to Luxara instructions is excluded.
For the automatic cover, standing water must be removed as instructed before the cover is operated. Snow, ice, debris and other significant loads or obstructions must be removed before operation. A cover that is frozen, obstructed or materially overloaded must not be operated.
The automatic cover is not a recreational surface. Walking, sitting, standing, playing or placing objects on the cover contrary to Luxara instructions can damage the system and is excluded from warranty coverage.
General Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply to failure or damage caused or materially contributed to by normal wear and tear; accident, abuse, misuse or neglect; failure to follow Luxara’s published operating or maintenance instructions; improper water chemistry; improper winterization; freezing; improper site preparation or field installation; inadequate or failed supporting structures; site settlement or movement outside Luxara’s permitted installation conditions; excessive external loads; inadequate drainage; groundwater or flooding; fire; lightning; storm; wind; hail; ice; impact; vandalism; animal or pest damage; unauthorized alteration or modification; electrical or utility failure; incompatible equipment; or operation beyond published temperature, hydraulic, electrical, structural or chemistry limits.
Damage occurring during transportation, unloading, crane handling or placement is not a manufacturing defect. Responsibility for such damage is determined under the applicable sales, shipping, delivery or installation agreement and by the party responsible for the Pool when the damage occurred.
This warranty does not cover concrete, foundations, slabs, patios, decking, coping supplied by others, landscaping, fencing, retaining structures, buildings, utility systems or other property surrounding or connected to the Pool except where expressly stated otherwise.
Pools sold as used, demonstration, prototype, factory-second, blemished or otherwise non-new products are covered only to the extent expressly stated in their applicable sales documentation.
Making a Warranty Claim
The Owner should notify Luxara promptly after discovering a condition believed to be covered and should normally provide notice within thirty (30) days of discovery.
Failure to provide notice within thirty days does not automatically eliminate otherwise valid warranty coverage. Luxara may, however, deny responsibility for additional damage or expense caused by an unreasonable delay in reporting or protecting the Pool after a problem became known.
A warranty claim may require the Pool serial number, proof of original purchase, installation location, description of the condition, photographs or video, the date the condition was first observed, and maintenance or water-testing information reasonably related to the claimed failure.
Luxara may reasonably inspect, test or obtain additional information concerning the Pool before determining coverage.
The Owner must take reasonable steps to prevent continuing damage.
Except for emergency measures reasonably required to protect persons or property, work for which warranty reimbursement is sought should not be undertaken without Luxara’s prior authorization.
Service, maintenance or repair by an independent party does not automatically void the warranty. Damage caused or materially worsened by improper, unauthorized or incompatible work is excluded, and Luxara is not responsible for the cost of repairs undertaken without authorization except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Luxara’s Warranty Remedy
If Luxara determines that a Luxara-warranted component has experienced a covered failure, Luxara may, at its option and subject to applicable law, repair the affected component; replace it with the same or a reasonably equivalent component; or, where repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable, provide another appropriate remedy.
The choice of remedy belongs to Luxara except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Repair or replacement may incorporate current materials, components, construction methods or designs where the original is no longer available or where Luxara reasonably determines that an alternative provides equivalent function.
An exact colour, finish, texture or appearance match is not guaranteed.
Repair or replacement does not restart the original warranty period. The repaired or replacement item remains covered for the unexpired portion of the original applicable warranty except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Labour, Access and Other Costs
For a covered defect in a Luxara-manufactured component, Luxara’s warranty obligation includes the reasonable direct work required to repair or replace the warranted component to the extent authorized by Luxara.
Unless expressly stated otherwise or required by applicable law, warranty coverage does not include costs of creating access to the Pool or warranted component or restoring the property afterward.
Excluded ancillary costs may include removal or replacement of decking, patios, landscaping, walls, fences, architectural finishes or structures; crane or lifting charges; excavation; demolition; site restoration; drainage work; water removal; replacement water or chemicals; utility charges; temporary accommodation; and other costs associated with the surrounding property.
Travel, freight and extraordinary site-access costs are covered only where expressly authorized by Luxara or required by applicable law.
If replacement of the fiberglass vessel or another major factory component is selected as the warranty remedy, Luxara’s obligation is to provide the covered repair or replacement itself. Removal of surrounding construction, preparation for access, site restoration and reinstallation work outside Luxara’s warranted product are the Owner’s responsibility unless Luxara agrees otherwise in writing.
Incidental and Consequential Losses
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this warranty does not cover incidental, indirect, special or consequential losses arising from a warranted failure, including loss of use or enjoyment, inconvenience, loss of income or rental value, increased utility costs, replacement water or chemicals, or damage to surrounding landscaping, construction or other property.
Where a jurisdiction does not permit a particular exclusion or limitation, the exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by that jurisdiction.
No Unauthorized Modification of Warranty
No dealer, installer, contractor, salesperson, representative or other person is authorized to alter, extend or enlarge this warranty on behalf of Luxara.
Additional warranty coverage is effective only when expressly stated in writing in the applicable Luxara sales specification or other written document authorized by Luxara.
Oral statements, sales discussions and advertising do not alter the terms of the written warranty.
Other Legal Rights
This warranty describes Luxara’s voluntary written warranty coverage and does not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer right or statutory warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
The Owner may have additional rights that vary by province, state or other jurisdiction.
If any provision is determined to be unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, it shall be limited or severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Registration and Warranty Contact
Owners are encouraged to register their Luxara after commissioning so that Luxara can maintain the Pool serial number, installation information, equipment schedule and warranty record.
Warranty coverage is subject to reasonable proof of original purchase and identification of the Pool.
